The Leasing Intern will learn what it takes to manage lease expirations while also marketing to bring in accretive new tenancy to our buildings. This includes the overall negotiation of leasing deals, the evaluation of landlord proposals, and comparisons to budgets and tenant counter offers. The position will also include an in-depth look at the statistical analysis required to effectively achieve successful leasing results while pursuing growth through accurate forecasting. The applicant will learn about key reported leasing metrics and the process of calculating, reconciling, and ultimately communicating these statistics to analysts and investors.

The ideal candidate will be on an educational track leading toward a real estate specialty preferably with an interest in leasing and/or data analytics. There will also be opportunities for exposure to and interaction with other departments to facilitate a holistic learning curriculum for the applicant. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; basic knowledge of Power BI is encouraged but not required.

General Office Environment:although the office environment is open, the noise level is quiet.
