McLean Hospital is seeking to fill a full time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse position in the Admitting Department ot their new 68 bed inpatient facility located on the Oak St campus in Middleboro, MA. The APRN would be responsible for completing the initial admission assessment and diagnostic evaluation of assigned adolescent patients and establish a person-centered plan of care. The APRN works with their collaborating physician in accordance with mututally developed practice guidelines.


Education: Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing

Experience: Minimum of 24 months experience working as a staff nurse in an inptient psychiatriic setting or related experience as well as experience with the adolescent population.

License: Current licensure in the Commonwealth pof Massachuusetts as a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Practice Role. DEA and DPH/MCSR registrations for those is prescribing role.

Certification: ANCC certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification as either a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist or as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

All employees must posess basic computer skills to use in a variety of electronic or online systems. Also required to complete electronic medical records training and deminstrated 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
