Under general supervision, performs a variety of diagnostic radiologic procedures including complex examinations such as myelograms, venograms, tomography, mammography, portables and operating room work.

Ability to respond appropriately to emergency patient conditions. Ability to use sterile technique to prevent contamination when appropriate. Ability to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of a wide variety of radiographic procedures. CPR review.

• Level of knowledge generally obtained through a two year program in radiologic technology and with successful completion of registration in the same.
• Mammography Registry on Mammography Technologist License.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned service area.
