This Athletic Trainer will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the physician within their capabilities including evaluation, intervention, taping, and home exercise programs
  • Acting as a liaison between the patients, the doctors and support staff
  • Assisting support staff in daily duties and triage and ensures communication and coordination with both hospital and outside communities
  • 50% of the time at will be spent at the hospital and the other 50% will be spent working at Boston Latin High School


In order to qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • An Athletic Trainer Certification required
  • Ability to travel between the hospital and Boston Latin High School
  • Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well developed writing skills.

Schedule: 5 days per week at Boston Latin High School (afternoons 2:30-6:30) and 4 days in the hospital (mornings 8am-12:30pm)
