Job Description
The Senior Specialist, International Business Unit is responsible for implementing and executing operational tasks reporting into the SVP, International Business Unit. This role fulfills administrative duties and supports senior leaders across the function with maintaining the general, day to day operations of the broader team. There will also be opportunities for this person to participate in special projects as identified. The Senior Specialist works directly with management to determine the day-to-day needs to seek and implement effective solutions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist department staff with documentation and administrative procedures.
  • Manage complex schedules with thoughtfulness and proactive planning
  • Plan domestic and international travel in close collaboration with service providers, using discretion, sound judgment, cost analysis and thoroughness
    • Proactively troubleshoot and addresses travel conflicts when needed (including after core business hours)
    • Manage international visas and country entry requirements for team
  • Coordinate & organize meetings with internal & external participants, as well as team building events addressing all necessary details for successful outcomes
  • Compile agendas, track action items and create summaries for leadership and site meetings
  • Leverage strong MS Office skills to provide robust presentation, document, and spreadsheet support
  • Complete expense reports, tracking their progress and timely processing and serve as central point for all purchase requests and contract submissions.
  • Responsible for administrative and logistic part contracted projects
  • Build and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships across the organization that are crucial to the success of the organization
  • Perform special projects as assigned or as gap areas may be identified.

Desired Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in an office setting serving in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and computing skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with great follow-up skills, building collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability
  • Embraces and accelerates change in adynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact confidently and professionally with senior leaders, handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience in a bio-tech company preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to support visa processing, travel support, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $88,000 - $110,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta's compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
