Your Role

As Training Coordinator you will identify gaps in knowledge and skill sets for all warehouse employees and fill those gaps with the correct training. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work onsite #LI-Onsite from our South Charlotte location (about 4-5 miles from Carowinds)

  • You will identify training needs in all departments in the warehouse

    • Inbound

    • Picking (including Pick and Pass)

    • Packing/loading (including Merge Pick Pass and freight)

    • RMA

    • Kitting

    • Inventory

    • Chicago Pneumatic

  • You will map out development plans for the different teams and individuals

  • You will design, develop, coordinate, and conduct in-house training programs for all departments

  • You will coordinate and conduct in-house training including training for equipment operators

  • You will create training schedules, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company

  • You will train new hires on company policies and procedures

  • You will train warehouse associates on general topics like safety, time-card system use, vacation request, attendance system, newly implemented policies, ...

  • You will gather and evaluate information from employees and management to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training (non-conformities)

  • You will perform other duties as assigned


To succeed, you will need

Education

  • 4 years college degree preferred or equivalent through experience.

Experience

  • At least 3 years preferred work experience in warehouse or supply chain.

  • eWM (SAP) exposure and knowledge is a must (WMS implementation, administration, power user

Skills

  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software

  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers

  • Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques

  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail
