We are currently hiring a Channel Marketing Manager, On Premise in Boston, MA.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

As part of the Channel/Customer Marketing Team, the Channel Marketing Manager will work to execute the BBC Marketing strategy within priority channels and key strategic retail accounts. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Channel Marketing and works closely with BBC Omni-Shopper Marketing, National Accounts, Category Mgmt/Insights alongside retailers. This role will be responsible for developing portfolio focused channel plans in support of the AOP process as well as be the Voice of the Customer back to the Commercial Marketing and Brand teams.

What You'll Brew:

  • Develop and lead channel portfolio execution plans to support Brand and retailer tentpole campaigns
  • Lead and build programs for strategic customers rooted in shopper insights and delivering on retailer business objectives
  • Develop strong customer relationships with retailers and internal national/channel account teams providing industry insights, thought leadership and new approaches to drive preference for BBC brands
  • Be the voice of the customer/channel to Brand, Shopper and Sales teams, providing insights and input into Shopper Marketing briefs, planning and AOP process as needed
  • Execute with excellence along the shopper journey including pre-shop digital, social and retailer media to drive conversion for BBC brands
  • Responsible for the development and execution of retailer or channel led marketing programs, inclusive of the briefing, development and end to end planning of program elements including but not limited to POS, retail media assets
  • Support the execution of BBC brands within relevant industry events including trade shows and strategic customer events related to channel of focus
  • Responsible for synthesizing, recapping and analyzing marketing programs to Brand/Shopper teams focused on KPI's aligned to Portfolio/Customer/Channel KPI's (e.g. store traffic, category growth, share of wallet)
  • Excluding the Commercial Team, this function is highly connected to Sales Strategy + Planning, National Accounts and Category Management teams

Travel Expectation: 25-35% for Strategic Customer meetings, Market Visits, Industry Events

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of Shopper, Field or Trade Marketing experience, preferably in Beverage Alcohol
    Experience working with Brand, National Accounts, Strategic customers and/or sales leaders in the development of trade or regional programs
  • Understanding of channel and class of trade strategies and tactics through the wholesaler
    network preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cross functionally to deliver assets and/or commercialize programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

Level: 5

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $81,600 - $130,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
