The Strategic Initiatives Manager plays a crucial role in shaping and delivering the I&I Long Range Strategic Plan, collaborating closely with the Leadership Team to establish clear objectives, priorities, and execution plans on growth initiatives. This position involves identifying and assessing potential strategic initiatives, projects, and partnerships aligned with business unit goals. Armed with excellent leadership and communication skills, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing identified strategic initiatives and ensuring its successful implementation.

A Day in the Life...

Strategic Planning

  • Co-develop and shape the Long-Range Strategic Plan, in collaboration with the Leadership Team, setting clear objectives, priorities, execution plan and KPI
  • Provides an outside-in thought leadership on the future state of the industry and potential impact to the business.
  • Identify and assess the feasibility and viability of potential strategic initiatives and partnerships that align with business unit goals.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision making, monitor project progress and shift strategies as needed.
  • Communicate strategic objectives and updates to key stakeholders.

Project Oversight

  • Lead or co-lead cross-functional teams to drive and implement identified strategic initiative.
  • Responsible for managing resources efficiently to meet program goals and objectives.
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally; determine who and when to involve other departments.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation plans.
  • Drive organizational change management to support the successful implementation of the growth initiatives.

Performance Tracking

  • Track project performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on status/impact of initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial, strategy, engineering and/or consulting fields
  • Critical thinker who makes highly analytical and data-driven decisions informed by leveraging external/internal data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills, influence and build trust effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability in program/project management and coordinating and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to develop routines & processes across teams.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills plus significant experience in creation and delivery of executive presentations and written/verbal communication. Able to tell a story and simplify complex data.

Preferred

  • CPG industry / Food Ingredients background
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
  • Regional and/or global multi-country experience

Education:
