Job Description
Position Title: Material Handler - 3rd Shift
Wage: $18.41 per hour
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 11:30am-7:30am
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Material Handler at a company in Canton, MO. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing the area for packaging of products and materials for storage, shipment, maintaining forms and product assembly.
- Maintain records of materials received and shipped.
- Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods.
- Receives, distributes, and stores products.
- Ability to attend and complete forklift training prior to operating forklift operation.
- Package and prepare orders for shipping, label containers, or products.
Material Handler Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 35-50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-12-hour shift.
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and stoop to move product repetitively.
