We are currently hiring for our next Taproom Marketing Co-op at our Sam Adams Downtown Taproom in Boston, MA. This position is from July-December 2024.

What You'll Brew:

  • Create content for and track and analyze the success of social media
  • Assist in the development, marketing, and execution of events at the Downtown Boston Taproom
  • Write copy for blog posts, help manage digital newsletter and Taproom website and manage community calendar listings
  • Assist with rental program through coordinating private events and day-of execution with on-site staff
  • Manage internal and external consumer relations and event requests
  • Update and maintain rental event and draft beer database
  • Help track and analyze success of programming events
  • Plan and execute onsite events to drive traffic to the Taproom, some taking place during evening hours and weekends
  • Support Taproom business on high-volume days, including support staff duties, tending bar, and retail tasks on a weekly basis
  • Maintain and develop new partnerships with local musicians and businesses
  • Support any other marketing initiatives and business needs for the Taproom

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program
  • Course work in Marketing, Management, Communication, and Business Writing. Preferably has an interest in Event Marketing.
  • Must be 21+ years of age to apply
  • Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute to Downtown Boston Taproom near City Hall

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Instagram and Facebook. Website knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States, now or in the future
