*** Position will travel to different PPOC office locations in Newton, Wellesley, Cambridge, Revere, Chelsea and Everett. May need to support practices outside of normal region depending on need***

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Daily logging of tasks and activities via JIRA Service Desk
  • User and device onboarding
  • Providing end user support for various applications
  • Participation in team meetings and collaboration for upcoming projects
  • Providing onsite support for hardware and software upgrades
  • Providing prompt and courteous resolution to user requests and issues
  • Providing security, compliance and HIPAA checks at all practices

In order to qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
  • MCSA, A+ , CISSP desirable
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and electronic medical record systems helpful
  • Knowledge of physician practice management systems and workflow helpful
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with PC hardware and software, printers, notebooks, Macs, iPads, and mobile devices
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and macOS
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with security and protection tools, antivirus and malware detection and removal
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Citrix desirable
  • Knowledge of JIRA helpful
  • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network gear as well as switches, routers, and firewalls desirable
  • Must own a reliable car and be able work remotely and independently
  • Local travel: up to 90%
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
