Responsibilities
    Creating and maintaining dedicated benchtop NMR user documentation, training material, protocols, workflows, and optimized application sequences, including transfer and optimization of existing (high field) NMR methods to low field.
  • Performing or assisting in customer training and support (on-site, in house and virtual/ remote) to familiarize customers with product usage.
  • Performing or assisting sales team with benchtop NMR spectrometer demonstrations (on-site, in house and virtual/ remote).
  • Generating customized customer reports and presentations of results and analyses as required.
  • Troubleshooting and routine maintenance of demo lab instruments.
  • Representation of the company and promotion of the benchtop NMR portfolio at conferences, trade-shows, seminars, and webinars, including preparation of presentations and posters as required.
  • Performing and assisting in the production of marketing and sales materials. Creating videos, virtual lectures, and other documentation.
  • Scientific and technical support of Sales and After Sales teams.
  • Supporting Product Management with customer requirement specification and product validation during Product Lifecycle Management and customer feedback for products and solutions already available on the market.
  • Participating in the development of new methods. Collaboration on customer projects (publication opportunities exist).
  • Keeping up to date with the latest knowledge applicable to high and low field NMR spectroscopy.
  • Collaborating with the global expansion team as well as other stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers, R&D, Sales).

Qualifications
  • MS or PhD in natural sciences, preferably chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering
  • 1-5 years experience in the operation of NMR spectrometers, benchtop NMR preferred, familiarity with NMR data analysis is a plus
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required
  • S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
  • Maintenance of a valid passport with flexibility for global travel
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation
  • Intermediate knowledge of chemical concepts with specialization in one or more areas such as organic, inorganic, analytical or physical chemistry or biochemistry
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, interpersonal, communication, teaching, and presentation skills with ability to write at an advanced scientific level and deliver customer-oriented support
  • Demonstrated efficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems with advanced capabilities with MS Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
