Fortune 500 company along the 495 route 2 belt is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 12am. This is a skilled position, responsible for repairing and installing production/manufacturing equipment, You will be inspecting equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnosing equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustment as needed. We are looking for someone with experience working with high-speed manufacturing equipment
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines on production line.
- Responds to line calls as requested
- Repair and troubleshoot all production equipment as needed
- Upgrade areas with new equipment/technology; work with outside contractors working on assigned line
- Change line for package changeovers
- Keep organized and detailed maintenance documentation.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance manufacturing experience required.
- Experience working with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmissions.
