Job Summary
The Home Health Aide provides personal care and light homemaking services to home care patients in accordance with the plan established by the primary nurse/therapist in each case. The Home Health Aide reports to the Rehabilitation Supervisor, Home Care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- High School diploma and successful completion of the training program required by CMS or the equivalent.
- Experience
- Preferred
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Home Health Aide or CNA certification preferred; BLS for the healthcare provider.
- Skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid Driver's license and ability to use own vehicle for transportation.
