Our Construction Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Branch/Sales Administrator for our Syracuse, NY location. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping the lobby of the branch organized, clean and orderly.
  • Receive branch calls and distribute the call to the correct dept/person
  • Order and Replenish office supplies (coffee, paper, etc)
  • Mail Processing
  • Assist in arranging work meetings in and out of the branches (hotel set up,
    lunch set up, training room meetings, etc...)
  • Keep inventory and distribution of the swag items.
  • Support the sales team in diverse administrative tasks
  • Receive/create/edit GPO's & EPO*s for the sales team...this includes
    machinery, attachments, freight, credits, etc...
  • Create inventory and sales folders in the NY260 folders
  • Put E-inspections into the correct folders & ERP
  • Assist with keeping on top of the company transmittal spreadsheet
  • Volvo and SDLG delivery reports...create and send to salesmen
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

  • High school diploma

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
  • Positive, friendly, and bubbly personality is a must have
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Attention to detail (proof reading, editing, etc.)
  • Outstanding phone skills
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Language Skills - Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills - Basic: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability - Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
