Acquia is looking for a proactive Customer Marketing Manager to lead our cross-sell and upsell initiatives in North America. You will focus on creating impactful customer engagement programs and building a strong community. You will work closely with account management, product marketing, performance marketing, and other partners to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive revenue expansion and foster long-term relationships with our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing digital and in-person programs that drive demand in key customer segments and generate pipeline and bookings that support customer sales strategy.
  • Designing strategic customer marketing plans outlining goals, tactics, and budget requirements across different marketing channels.
  • Implementing customer engagement programs to cultivate strong relationships with our customers, such as regional events, advisory boards, etc.
  • Coordinating customer communications, such as newsletters, email campaigns, and webinars, to ensure customers are well-informed about product updates, new features, and effective methods.
  • Driving partnership with account management to facilitate detailed execution, lead follow-up, and delivery against important metrics.
  • Growing the database of targetable contacts in the right job levels/functions across our customer base.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on campaign results to ensure optimization and successful outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
  • 8+ years of experience in customer marketing, marketing planning, field marketing, event management, and account-based marketing.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Past success leading integrated customer marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking.
  • Experience building engaged communities through both online and offline channels.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to establish rapport, influence, and deepen relationships with collaborators, especially with sales.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing tools, processes, and execution of workflows to define, track, and report critical metrics.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
